Char Dham of Uttarakhand or Chota Char Dham (small four abodes) is one of the most important Hindu Pilgrimages in India. It comprises of four most holy sites of Uttarakhand, namely - Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri. When and how these places got linked in a pilgrimage circuit together is not known. Each of the places has its own individual and legendary history. But perhaps it is the greatness and mysticism of each site that has qualified them to form a sacred pilgrimage tour.
Till 1950s going to the four most sacred sites of Uttarakhand meant embarking on a strenuous journey on foot through the hilly trails. People, like wandering sadhus, and those who could afford to travel with an entourage, were the most likely and regular pilgrims of Chota Char Dham. After the 1962 Indo - China war, India put massive efforts in building means of better connectivity to and infrastructure at border areas. Now the roads could take one till the nearest points of the holy abodes. This encouraged people from other backgrounds (economic or social) to initiate a tour of Char Dham circuit in Himalayas.

Arrival Delhi & proceed to Haridwar & O/N stay in Haridwar. Meet our assistance or Chauffer on arrival in Delhi as per your predefined schedule and further proceed to Haridwar. Upon arrival check into hotel and further you can proceed for Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pouri on your own if possible with available time and conditions. Driver who picked you from Delhi will might be not available today for further drop and pick up Or for Yatra. After a hectic drive from Delhi he might be tired and can go for rest and vehicle maintenance and wash. So here Har Ki pouri is centre point of Haridwar and there are several local transport is available for this sight. We kept you free to explore the local Haridwar and edge of Ganges. O/N stay in Haridwar.
Haridwar - Guptkashi-Sitapur (210 Kms/ 7-8 hrs). O/N Stay in Sitapur:- Leave early in the morning after breakfast for almost day long drive to Sitapur via Guptkashi. On your drive you would pass Dev Parayag & Rudraprayag. Overnight stay in the hotel at Sitapur/Guptkashi. Upon reach Sitapur/Rampur/Guptkashi we will take rest . Night stay in Hotel.
Haridwar - Guptkashi-Sitapur (210 Kms/ 7-8 hrs). O/N Stay in Sitapur:- Leave early in the morning after breakfast for almost day long drive to Sitapur via Guptkashi. On your drive you would pass Dev Parayag & Rudraprayag. Overnight stay in the hotel at Sitapur/Guptkashi. Upon reach Sitapur/Rampur/Guptkashi we will take rest . Night stay in Hotel.
Return back to Sitapur after trek of 06 hrs - O/N stay in Sitapur/Rudraprayag :- On this day we will stay in Sitapur to keep a buffer time in hand to handle any last moment delay because of bad weather or any technical or medical reason. This is best way to arrange an itinerary or program for both trekkers and flyers to Shri Kedarnath Ji. In lack of geographical knowledge and climate conditions of this divine land some passengers or some travel agents or tour operators use to keep neck to neck to program for 02 nights in Kedarnath Ji region this always create problem and they themselves use to disturb their further program. You should cover the sight-sing or Darshan of Shri Triyugi Narayan Temple (Optional and Chargeable Extra) for maximum use of this day if we stay in Sitapur.
: Sitapur-Rudraprayag- Devprayag –Rishikesh-Haridwar –(210 kms/06hr) .S/S Rishikesh. O/N stay in Haridwar.
Early morning after breakfast, we will make a short visit of MahaRudra Temple at Sangam confluence of Alaknanda & Mandakini. Here we can have Darshan of Maa Chamunda Devi Shakti Peeth. After that we will proceed to Rishikesh and on the way we will view of 05th and last Parayag-Dev Parayag in this route. Arrive Rishikesh and you will visit Laxamn Jhula and Ram Jhula on your own as this is not motorable. Vehicle will wait for you in parking. Best way to visit this part of Rishikesh is to enter by Laxman Jhula and exit from Ram Jhula. You can also see many Ghats and temples and beautiful Ashrams. Rishikesh is next home of Sadhus & Saints. It is also called Capital land of Yoga. You need to keep watch on time if you have missed your Ganga Aarti on day 01 upon arrival to Haridwar. So it is in your hand how fast you finish your sight-seeing and reach Har-Ki-Pouri, Haridwar for Ganga Aarti. It generally starts by 06:00 PM in Summers and 5:15 PM in winters. Those who have enjoyed on day 01 can have opportunity to enjoy some more time in Rishikesh. Late evening before dinner reach Haridwar. This is your last day and evening so must have to arrange your bags and pack. Evening you can enjoy shopping in Haridwar and Rishikesh.
After breakfast departure to Delhi airport or Railway station as per your schedule:- After breakfast , departure to Delhi and proceed to your home destination as per your schedule. In this program there is no sight-seeing is included for Delhi. We can speak on this and add this as this an optional activities for Ek Dham Yatra. It may occur some nominal cost extra.
